You can purchase tickets from the automatic ticket vending machines at the station.
The fare for single-use QR tickets varies depending on the destination.
When you select [Purchase a single-use transit ticket] on the screen, a screen displaying the entire route map, sections, and options to search for destination will appear.
After selecting the destination or section on the route map and confirming the fare, insert bills or coins.
Wait for a moment, and your boarding ticket and change will be dispensed.
Transit card
Purchase
You may purchase transit cards from automatic card vending machines at the station. * You may also purchase transit cards at convenience stores.
To receive fare discounts for adolescents and children, their date of birth must be registered at convenience stores.
Select [Purchase a transit card] on the automatic card vending machine.
Select the number of cards you want to purchase, and press [Confirm].
Insert bills or coins into the machine.
Please wait for a while for the transit card to be issued.
After receiving the card, you may choose whether to print the receipt.
Recharge
You can recharge transit cards at automatic ticket vending machines or automatic charging machines at the station.
Select [Recharge a transit card] on the screen.
Place the card at the machine and select the charging amount or press [Direct input] to enter the amount of money as you want.
(in increments of 1,000 won).
Insert bills or coins into the machine.
Once you have finished recharging, please select whether to print a receipt and retrieve your card.
Information such as the valid date of the card, fare, card balance, and transfer-related details will appear on the top display panel of the gate.
Refund
You can get a refund of the remaining card balance at convenience stores (Seven Eleven, CU, GS25, etc.).

Mobile tickets (App)
Download
You can download the mobile App by searching for "Busan Urban Railway" on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Use
Mobile tickets can be used after downloading the dedicated App provided by the Busan Transportation Corporation.
Foreigners can use the service as non-members by entering your email and authentication code.
You can use the mobile App to charge Metro Pay or purchase season tickets.
Mobile tickets are only valid for the urban railway.
Types
Metro Pay: You may use the urban railway up to the amount recharged at the vending machine.
season tickets: You may use the urban railway for a specified period.
1-day ticket: Unlimited trips for the day of purchase (6,000 won).
3-day ticket: Unlimited trips for 3 consecutive days from the date of purchase (13,000 won).
30-day ticket: Allows up to 45 trips within 30 days from the date of purchase (45,000 won).
Recharge
You may recharge using the automatic vending machines at the station.
Select [Recharge Pay / Purchase a season ticket] on the screen.
Scan the QR code displayed on your mobile phone or place your phone at the designated area for [Recharge your transit card] on the vending machine.
Press [Recharge Pay / Purchase a season ticket] on the screen.
Choose the amount you want to recharge or press [Direct input] to enter the desired amount.
Insert bills or coins into the machine.
Once you have finished recharging, please select whether to print a receipt and retrieve your card.
Refund
You may directly process refunds for Metro Pay balances and regular boarding passes using the automatic vending machines at the station.
Select [Recharge Pay / Purchase a regular boarding pass] on the screen.
Scan the QR code displayed on your mobile phone or place your phone at the designated area for [Recharge your transit card] on the vending machine.
Press [Return], located at the center of the screen.
A fee of 200 won per 10,000 won will be deducted for Metro Pay refunds.
Metro Pay balances expire after 5 years of inactivity from the last date of use.
Refund for 1-day and 3-day pass is only available for unused tickets
1-month pass can be refunded based on the remaining counts available.
Refunds are not available for expired regular boarding passes (1-day, 3-day, 30-day) after the designated period from the date of purchase.
Refunds will not be processed if you are unable to verify your balance due to negligence in managing your information, such as changing or losing your mobile phone or password or losing the email used for authentication.
Passing through the gate
Upon passing through the gate, passengers can board the urban railway.
Check the direction of the destination station and use the gate in the appropriate direction.
Passengers can pass through gates using purchased QR tickets, transit cards, or mobile tickets.
For QR and mobile tickets, scan a code onto the QR codes reader and pass through the gate while rotating the barrier or when the entrance is opened.
For transit cards, tag the card to the card reader and pass through the gate while rotating the barrier or when the entrance is opened.
Each person must use only one ticket.
Information such as the usage time, fare, and balance of transit cards and mobile tickets will be displayed on the display screen of the gate.
Please make sure to keep your ticket until you get off at the destination gate.
How to board
When waiting for the train, please wait in line on either sides of the door and take turns to board the train after all passengers have alighted.
To keep public order is the safest and the quickest way to use an urban train.
In case of carrying a bicycle
You can carry your bicycle on the train only in case of a holiday or weekend.
You can't carry your bicycle during weekdays(Mon. - Fri.) when the urban rail is most crowded so we humbly ask you to cooperate for passengers' safety.
