When trains travelled very rarely and at slow speed in the early stage of the train, the signalling device was built only for the purpose of safety. But, as the electric and electronic techniques have been induced to the signalling, the signalling device is not only the facility to secure the safety but also contributes to the efficiency increase of the operation by the high speed, high density and auto operation of the train etc.
TTC(Total Traffic Control) is the important facility needed for safe operation of urban rail and it consists of operation control room and signalling control room.
It consists of train operation status display to show operation condition of every train to run in the whole section and the facility an operator can control the train operation condition directly. Therefore, it performs intensive monitoring and proper operation handling needed for the safe train operation directly.

It is the facility aimed to stop the train at the normal position automatically when the train enters the platform. It is the device to stop the train at the normal position accurately by sending the information to a train as it is installed on the rail line.
It is the device to inform the driver of the time for a train to leave the platform. It turns on 6 seconds before leaving and it turns off 3.5 seconds before leaving, thus, it tells the driver the time to leave.
It is installed in the station platform and the device to send the train related information to the ground facility. As it sends the train information such as train number or its route etc. to TTC device and the interlocking device, it can control the automatic track entering and the time to stop.
